This rock was interesting because it was very heavy. It was found on the beach along the Bay of Fundy. I brought it home with me a couple of summers ago.
The rock was dark grey to black in colour with no colour change throughout.
The rock did not fizz when tested with acid.
The grains were very small and tightly packed together.
There were no layers evident in the rock.
